Presenting the trainers: Ian Collins
Hello there! I'm Ian Collins, and I'm thrilled to share a bit about my passion and expertise with you.
For over 15 years, I've been on a mission to create safer, healthier, and more productive workplaces. My approach blends workplace safety, employee well-being, and Human and Organisational Performance (HOP) to help teams excel in today's dynamic work environments. I hold an MBA, am a Certified Master Coach and have multiple safety qualifications including an Advanced Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety.
I've had the joy of founding three companies that work together to make a real difference:
-
Safety Coach International
-
Wellbeing Daily
-
How2HOP
Each of these ventures focuses on a crucial aspect of workplace improvement, from transforming safety culture to boosting employee wellbeing and implementing HOP principles.
I'm also proud to be a Senior Consultant at Fisher Improvement Technologies, where I work with global teams to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency using cutting-edge HOP methods.
My goal? To help organisations like yours reduce workplace incidents, boost employee wellbeing, and achieve lasting business success. I'd love to chat about how we can tailor these strategies to your unique needs and make a positive impact together!

Presenting the trainers: David Wollage
Hi there! I'm David Wollage, and I'm excited to share a bit about my background and passion for workplace safety and leadership development.
My journey in this field has been quite an adventure, blending safety leadership, business psychology, and organisational coaching. I've had the privilege of studying at Griffith University, the University of Western Australia, and Charles Sturt University, which has given me a well-rounded perspective on safety practices, risk management, and the human side of organisational culture.
I'm proud to hold certifications as a Certified Occupational Health and Safety Practitioner and an International Executive Coaching and Leadership professional. These credentials reflect my commitment to staying at the forefront of industry best practices.
But it's not all about qualifications! I love sharing knowledge and insights through my New View Safety Coach YouTube Channel and by facilitating the Safety Differently Book Club in Perth. These platforms allow me to connect with fellow safety enthusiasts and explore innovative ideas together.
My approach combines technical know-how with psychological insights and coaching techniques. I'm passionate about helping organisations and individuals achieve lasting safety excellence, build resilient cultures, and unlock their full potential.
I'd be thrilled to chat more about how we can work together to create safer, more empowering workplaces!
